Bring Your Oral Heath To New Heights: 3-Step Oral Hygiene Routine

A smile is an almost universal language, and the biggest part of a beautiful smile is a healthy set of teeth. That’s why your oral hygiene routine can make or break the message your smile sends.

Here’s a 3-step that will help you start a healthy oral routine.

🦷 Brush - Brush twice a day. And not just a quick swipe. Brush for at least two minutes.

The ADA (American Dental Association) recommends changing your toothbrush every 3-4 months, so make a resolution to change your toothbrush with every season this year.

If your morning oral routine isn’t before breakfast, the ADA recommends waiting at least an hour after eating before you brush, especially if you had something acidic such as orange juice or grapefruit. Acid loosens tooth enamel, and the force of brushing may damage your teeth if you do it too soon

🦷 Floss - Floss all of your teeth at least once a day, preferably at night before you go to bed.  Regular use of dental floss removes plaque, helping to prevent the buildup of plaque, which can lead to tartar. Simply flossing your teeth can make them look brighter by removing plaque and excess food particles that you may not see in the mirror or in areas that your toothbrush doesn’t reach.

🦷 OraTicx -  Brushing and flossing are only half the battle. 😉  For a truly healthy mouth, it’s essential to also support good bacteria that are native to the mouth using oral-care probiotics. Balance your oral microbiome with OraTicx!

Last but not least, visit your dentist at least once a year, even if you have no natural teeth or have dentures.
